Principal Engineer - Integration

We know Payroll and have been processing payroll accurately and compliantly for over 50 years. The Principal Integration Developer is a new role and in this instance is responsible for leading the software development of the API/integration stream of our next generation SaaS Payroll Product, Datapay. We are modernising the way that our services talk to each other and how our product talks with external parties. This role will suit an experienced hands-on developer responsible with all phases of integration development, from architecture and technical design to implementation and customer engagement. As a technical leader you will be collaborating with the Product and Design team, Tech Leads/Architects and working with Development teams to maximise our value delivery pipeline as part of our Datapay Agile delivery approach. You will play a critical leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of our payroll solution platform helping to build design patterns, mentor engineers, set coding standards and ensure end to end quality of work. While the technology selection below is very broad we will expect expert level capability in some areas and general knowledge experience in others and we look forward to discussing that with you at interview.
