Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Datacenter Technician located in Jaipur. The technician will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the data center infrastructure, including the setup and management of cabling systems and structured cabling. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and network issues, conducting regular system upgrades, monitoring operations to ensure efficiency, and implementing best practices for cable management and system organization. Collaboration with the engineering team and adherence to safety and compliance protocols will be key elements of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cable management and structured cabling techniques, ensuring organized and efficient data center infrastructure.
- Experience in data center operations, including monitoring and maintaining servers, networks, and critical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities to address hardware and network-related issues promptly.
- Familiarity with cabling practices, installation methods, and industry standards to ensure stability and uptime.
- Attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, and strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of safety and compliance standards in data center environments.
- Technical certifications, such as CompTIA Server+ or related, are a plus.
