Role Description
Delta Electronics is hiring a full-time Datacenter HVAC Designing SME for Mumbai/Hyderabad/Gurgaon/Chennai locations. The position involves designing HVAC systems for datacenters to support end-to-end engineering of mission critical cooling solutions. The role involves concept design, detailed engineering, execution support, and commissioning of advanced datacenter cooling systems, including liquid cooling architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Documentation
· Develop conceptual cooling architectures for datacenters (air & liquid cooled).
· Prepare Preliminary Design Reports (PDR) and Basis of Design.
· Support capacity planning, redundancy philosophy (N, N+1, 2N), and scalability.
· Prepare preliminary budgetary estimates and technical inputs for bids.
· Perform detailed HVAC and liquid cooling design, including system sizing and calculations.
· Prepare working drawings, GA, schematics, piping layouts, P&ID and control philosophies.
· Develop technical specifications, BOQ, and detailed cost estimates.
· Ensure multi-disciplinary coordination with electrical, controls, and IT infrastructure.
Tendering & Technical Support
· Support tender documentation, technical bid responses, and clarifications.
· Participate in technical evaluation and provide recommendations for award of work.
· Interface with consultants, colocation players, and hyperscale customers.
Required Skills and Expertise
· Experience with high-density cooling, WUE/PUE considerations, and efficiency optimization.
· Familiarity with ASHRAE (TC 9.9), IS, SMACNA, and global DC standards.
· Software Skill: ACAD/Revit
· Certification loke CDCP/CDCS/ATD will be added advantage
