Software Engineer - Data Platform

As a Software Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will be responsible for building and enhancing the core infrastructure that powers Databricks' data products. You will work on a variety of projects, from building the core data ingestion and processing pipelines to creating new data services and APIs. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of the next generation of Databricks' platform capabilities. What you will do: - Design and build highly scalable, reliable, and performant data processing pipelines and infrastructure - Contribute to the design and development of new data services and APIs - Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to define and implement new platform capabilities - Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning to ensure high-quality and timely delivery - Mentor and guide more junior engineers on the team - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and contribute to their adoption within the team
