Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Database Engineering or SRE.
- Strong hands-on experience with Redis in production environments.
- Experience with Aerospike or Cassandra is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell/Bash scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Good understanding of high availability, replication, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and Linux systems is preferred.
Key Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and optimize Redis and NoSQL database clusters.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and database performance.
- Handle backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and failover processes.
- Automate operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting.
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve latency/performance bottlenecks.
- Support cloud infrastructure and database migrations.
- Maintain runbooks, monitoring alerts, and operational documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams for reliable production deployments.
