Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in software development, specializing in database management and optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems that support our software applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain database architectures to support application development.
- Optimize database performance through tuning and indexing strategies.
- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate database solutions into applications.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular database backups and recovery procedures.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficient in SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance standards.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

Qualifications
