Hiring: PostgreSQL Developer (5–8 Years)
Location: Pan India
Experience: 5–8 Years
Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days (Serving 15 days)
We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PostgreSQL database development, SQL programming, performance optimization, and database migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases and database objects.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages using PL/pgSQL.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure database security by managing roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Support database migration projects to PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with application development teams to deliver scalable database solutions.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of experience as a PostgreSQL Developer.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database development and administration.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming.
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL backup and recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of database security best practices.
- Experience in database migration projects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Linux environments.
- Exposure to PostgreSQL replication and high availability.
- Knowledge of cloud databases (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
