We are seeking 5 to 7 years of experience Database Developer with strong MySQL expertise to design, develop, manage, and optimize database systems. This role combines hands-on database development with administration tasks to ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of business-critical data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop MySQL database schemas and structures
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views
• Support application teams with efficient database integration
• Perform query tuning and indexing for optimal performance
• Install, configure, and manage MySQL databases
• Monitor database performance, uptime, and capacity
• Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
• Manage replication, high availability, and failover mechanisms
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience as a MySQL DBA in a production environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with MySQL Development
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and database design principles
• Experience in performance tuning, indexing, and optimization
• Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, replication, and monitoring
• Understanding of data security, user management, and access control
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle)
• Exposure to cloud-managed databases (AWS RDS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python) for automation
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
