Database Administrator - Mongo/Cassandra
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with expertise in MongoDB and Cassandra to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, replication, sharding, clustering, backup and recovery, high availability, and performance tuning. Proficiency in Linux/Unix is also required.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance databases using MongoDB and Cassandra
- Ensure high availability and reliability of databases through replication, sharding, and clustering
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss
- Optimize database performance through tuning and monitoring
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schema
- Troubleshoot database issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices
Requirements
- 6-9 years of experience in database administration
- Expertise in MongoDB and Cassandra
- Strong knowledge of database administration, replication, sharding, clustering, backup and recovery, high availability, and performance tuning
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
