Technical Skills
- 6 10 years in database administration
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience supporting production-grade systems
- Communicating with team members and clients requires strong active listening skills, clear verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
- PostgreSQL: o indexing, partitioning, vacuuming o query optimization (EXPLAIN/ANALYZE)
- Experience with: o high-volume transactional systems o time-series / IoT data (preferred)
- Knowledge of: replication (streaming/logical) o backup tools (pg_dump, WAL, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud-managed DB services (AWS RDS, Aurora, etc.)
