Role: Sr. Database Administrator

Location: Hyderabad / Ahmedabad
We are hiring a hands-on Sr. Database Administrator with strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in database performance tuning, ETL processes, replication, and production support in high-availability environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SQL Server databases (2016/2019/2022)
- Monitor database health, performance, and availability
- Handle SQL Server Agent Jobs, backups, indexing, and query optimization
- Support ETL processes using SSIS or similar tools
- Manage transactional replication and troubleshoot database issues
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and minimal downtime
- Work closely with application, reporting, and infrastructure teams
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as SQL Server DBA
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Indexing, and Performance Tuning
- Experience with ETL/SSIS and replication
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Foglight or Azure Monitor
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure SQL or cloud environments
- Knowledge of CDC, data migration, and BI/reporting systems
- Exposure to insurance domain applications
