We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our large-scale database systems (RDBMS or Timeseries Database). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, security, backup strategies, and ensuring high availability and reliability of data systems.
๐ Location: Mumbai (WFO).
๐ผ Employment Type: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire.
โ ๏ธ Note: Relocation is mandatory (please apply only if youโre willing to relocate).

๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:

โ Configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Any time series DB).
โ Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies for optimization.
โ Experience working in real-time, high-throughput application environments.
โ Design and implement database solutions for new applications and projects.
โ Collaborate with teams for schema design, query optimization, and data migration.
โ Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
โ Perform routine maintenance, backups, recovery, and troubleshoot issues like crashes or slowdowns.
โ Connect databases with multiple applications / systems for ensuring smooth data flow.
โ Migrate data between systems.
๐๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ & ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ:
โ Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
โ 7โ8 years of experience as a DBA in a production environment.
โ Strong knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Time Series databases (QuestDB, etc.).
โ Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
โ Hands-on experience with backup/recovery tools, high availability, and replication techniques.
โ Proficiency in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and scripting languages (Shell).
โ Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.) and DevOps tools.
โ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
โ Excellent communication and documentation skills.
