Job Description
- Oracle and AWS RDS DBA with 3+ years of experience in database administration in Production environment.
- Primary Skills: Oracle DBA and AWS RDS DBA
- Secondary skill: At least one of PostgreSQL or MySQL or MongoDB and Automation using Shell scripts, Jenkins, Python etc.
- Experienced in installation of Oracle databases
- Experienced in RAC database installation / troubleshooting / backup / restore/ standby.
- Experienced in creating standby database (from the scratch).
- Experienced in Oracle database upgradation
- Experienced in Oracle database patching.
- Working experience in performance tuning with tools like (OEM, AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL tuning advisor, SQL access advisor, SQL profile, SQL baseline, resource management).
- Experienced in AWS RDS, EC2, s3, instance migration/upgradation, RDS snapshot/cloning/restoration.
- Knowledge in AWS VPC, security, DMS.
- Experienced in Data pump, RMAN clone, Transportable tablespace.
- Experienced in Linux and Windows operating system.
- Experienced in Schema management / Tablespace management.
- Strong communication and customer handling skills.
- Strong understanding ITIL processes.
- Knowledge of JIRA would be added plus.
