Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Database Administrator located in Noida. The Database Administrator will manage, maintain, and optimize database systems to ensure their availability, performance, and security. Daily tasks include designing and implementing database structures, troubleshooting database issues, overseeing database recovery tasks, and ensuring effective database replication. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support and enhance database processes in alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Database Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases.
- Experience in Database Design, ensuring logical and physical database models align with application requirements.
- Skilled in Troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues.
- Knowledge of various Databases and expertise in managing data storage, backups, and optimized queries.
- Understanding of Replication concepts and implementing relevant strategies for data consistency and availability.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
