Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Database Administrator role located in Pune City. The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing database systems to ensure their efficiency, security, and performance. Daily tasks include database maintenance, troubleshooting issues, designing database structures, ensuring efficient data storage, and implementing replication processes as needed. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to support performance optimization and problem resolution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Database Administration and Database Design
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to databases
- Comprehensive knowledge of Databases and their operations, including data integrity and indexing
- Experience with setting up and managing database Replication processes
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a methodical approach to work
- Familiarity with database security measures and data protection protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft SQL Server certification are a plus
