Automation & Data Systems Executive (Google Apps
Script Specialist)
Role Summary
The Automation & Data Systems Executive will be responsible for designing, developing,
and maintaining automated business solutions using Google Apps Script, Google
Workspace tools, and advanced data analytics platforms. The role focuses on building
web-based internal tools, automated workflows, and interactive dashboards to improve
operational efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Development
Develop automation workflows using Google Apps Script to streamline business
processes.
Build web-based applications using Apps Script Web Apps integrated with Google
Workspace.
Create automated triggers, email workflows, approval systems, and data pipelines.
Integrate Google Sheets with other platforms through APIs and Apps Script
services.
Data Management & Analytics
Design and maintain advanced Google Sheets systems with complex formulas and
data logic.
Build dynamic dashboards and reports using Looker Studio.
Perform data analysis and visualization to support business decisions.
Ensure data accuracy, validation, and efficient data processing.
Web Interface Development
Develop front-end interfaces for internal tools using:
o JavaScript
o HTML
o CSS
Create user-friendly web dashboards and data entry portals connected to Google
Sheets databases.
Reporting & Insights
Generate automated reports and dashboards for management.
Create real-time reporting systems connected to Google Sheets or external data
sources. Maintain scalable MIS systems and automated reporting pipelines.

Technical Skills
Google Apps Script (Advanced Level) – Automation, triggers, APIs, Web Apps
Google Sheets (Advanced) – QUERY, IMPORTRANGE, ARRAYFORMULA, data
automation
Looker Studio – dashboard creation and data visualization
JavaScript – scripting and Apps Script development
HTML & CSS – building web interfaces
Strong understanding of data structures, automation logic, and workflow
optimization
Analytical Skills
Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability
Data analysis and reporting skills
Ability to design scalable automation systems
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in IT / Computer Science / Commerce / Data Analytics or related field
1–3 years experience in Automation, MIS, or Data Systems preferred
Freshers with strong Apps Script automation projects may also be considered
Preferred Experience
Building Google Workspace automation tools
Creating internal ERP / workflow systems using Apps Script
- Integrating Google tools with third-party APIs
