Previously known as PopReach Games, the company was founded by industry leaders and manages globally recognized IPs such as Smurfs’ Village, War of Nations, Kingdoms of Camelot, and Kitchen Scramble, with more than 400 million lifetime downloads.
In 2024, Garden City Games became part of the Phoenix Games Group, gaining enhanced resources and support while continuing its commitment to innovation, diversity, and inclusion.
If you've worked in free-to-play gaming or performance marketing, you know the drill: cohorts come in, you support campaign managers whether to scale or kill a campaign — fast. We're looking for someone who has done exactly this and wants to own that function at a gaming studio with a portfolio of live games and millions of players.
You will work alongside an established analytics team and a senior data engineer. Your focus: making our user acquisition spend smarter through data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Forecasting : Predict campaign-level profitability from early cohort signals — forecast revenue curves and guide budget decisions within days of launch
- UA Performance Analysis: Build and maintain the models and dashboards that campaign managers rely on daily — ROAS tracking, spend efficiency, cohort performance
- Revenue Curve Modeling : Understand how cohort revenue develops over time across different games, platforms, and ad networks
- Cross-Game Insights : We run multiple live titles — identify patterns and learnings that transfer across the portfolio
- Production Models : Your models need to run reliably in production, not just in notebooks
Qualifications & Skills
Must have:
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a quantitative role within gaming, ad tech, or performance marketing
- Working knowledge of free-to-play economics: cohorts, LTV curves, CPI, ROAS, attribution
- Experience with campaign-level forecasting or revenue prediction
- SQL proficiency — you write your own queries against large datasets
- Python for analysis and modeling
Nice to have:
- Experience with mobile game analytics platforms (Adjust, AppsFlyer, GameAnalytics, or similar)
- Familiarity with ad networks and campaign management (Meta, Google, ironSource, AppLovin)
- Experience with AWS (Redshift, S3) or BigQuery
- Statistical modeling beyond standard ML (time series, regression, causal methods)
- Experience taking models from research to production pipelines.
Approach
- You understand why D7 ROAS matters and can explain it to someone who doesn't
- You've seen enough cohort data to have intuition about what "normal" looks like — and when something is off
- You'd rather ship a simple model that works than a complex one that doesn't.
Work Mode : Hybrid Mode
Location : Bangalore.
