Job Summary:
Client is looking for Data Scientist, and this is remote position from India.
Experience:
- Strong Python; excellent data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis.
- Experience with document processing at scale (chunking, layout parsing, metadata extraction)
- Building classical ML models (supervised and unsupervised) in analytics contexts
- 5+ years in Data science, with demonstrated experience with classical ML models and RAG/search evaluation pipelines.
NLP specific (beyond classical):
- Embeddings and representation learning
- Text classification, topic extraction, and clustering
- Similarity search and retrieval evaluation
- Good to have: NER (Named Entity Recognition) for domain-specific entities
Gen AI and Agentic AI specific:
- Comfortable prototyping and experimenting with LangChain/LangGraph in notebooks
- Prompt engineering and output structuring
- Designing RAG pipelines (indexing, skillsets, semantic search, filters, etc):
- Chunking strategies
- Embedding choices
- Retrieval quality
- Designing and running evaluation frameworks:
- Hallucination detection
- Groundedness
- Retrieval quality metrics
- Structured output validation, etc
- Proven experience working with vector search and embeddings
Additional Required Experience
- Experience working in an Azure environment
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience working with environmental health data
