About The Role
As an eCommerce Data Analyst at Unotech Global, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into strategic insights that influence key business decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity, and developing comprehensive reports and visualizations. Your expertise will support our efforts to optimize customer experiences, improve sales performance, and drive growth initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data science, strategic planning, and emerging AI technologies. You will lead important projects such as Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaign implementations, while actively contributing to our AI initiatives through participation in the AI Task Force. The position provides room for professional growth, exposure to innovative tools, and the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, or related fields. While a bachelor’s degree is preferred, extensive hands-on experience and mastery of data analysis can substitute formal education. Candidates should have at least four years of relevant experience in eCommerce data analysis. Technical proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, and advanced Excel is essential, along with experience in Tableau or similar visualization software. A solid understanding of data architecture—including data design, database schemas, ETL processes, and storage best practices—is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are critical. The candidate must demonstrate adaptability, a proactive mindset, and a keen interest in emerging AI technologies, with a willingness to participate actively in AI initiatives and the AI Task Force.
Responsibilities
- Data Integrity: Maintain the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all eCommerce systems. Document data flows between transactional and master data systems to establish a single source of truth, identify inconsistencies, and recommend appropriate data input controls for customer and product data.
- Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources such as web analytics, sales records, and customer behavior to generate actionable insights. Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators including conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, average order value, and other relevant metrics to evaluate and optimize eCommerce performance.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to identify behavior patterns, segment audiences, and provide insights that support targeted marketing, personalization, and improved customer engagement strategies.
- A/B Testing: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize website performance, enhance user experience, and refine marketing campaigns for better results.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on market trends and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth and strategic positioning.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling dashboards, visual reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with eCommerce, marketing, and product teams to align data insights with business objectives, supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives.
