About The Role
As an eCommerce Data Analyst at Unotech Global, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into strategic assets that influence key business decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity, and providing actionable insights to optimize our eCommerce operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data analytics, strategic planning, and emerging AI technologies. You will lead critical projects such as Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaign implementations, and contribute to our AI initiatives by participating in the AI Task Force. Your expertise will help shape our customer engagement strategies, enhance user experience, and support our growth objectives in a competitive digital landscape.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields, although equivalent practical experience is also highly valued. A minimum of four years of experience in data analysis within the eCommerce sector is required. Technical proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, and advanced Excel is essential, along with experience using visualization platforms like Tableau or similar software. A solid understanding of data architecture, including ETL processes and database design, is necessary to support robust data analysis. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive mindset, adaptability to fast-paced environments, and a keen interest in emerging AI technologies and their business applications. Experience with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce, as well as certifications in data analytics or digital marketing, are considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all eCommerce systems. Document data flows, transactional, and master data to establish a single source of truth, identify inconsistencies, and recommend improvements for data input controls and workflows.
- Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources such as web analytics, sales records, and customer behavior metrics. Generate comprehensive reports and insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) including conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and average order value to measure the effectiveness of eCommerce activities.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to identify behavior patterns, segment audiences, and develop targeted marketing and personalization strategies.
- A/B Testing: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize website performance, enhance user experience, and improve marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth and strategic positioning.
- Data Visualization: Develop dashboards, visual reports, and presentations to effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making among stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Partner with eCommerce, marketing, and product teams to align data initiatives with business objectives and facilitate cross-functional projects.
