About The Role
As an eCommerce Data Analyst at Unotech Global, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that influence strategic decision-making across our eCommerce platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to analyze data, monitor performance metrics, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Your expertise will help shape our customer engagement strategies, enhance user experience, and support our company's ambitious growth targets. This role offers a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical analysis, and project management, providing a platform for professional growth in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields, though equivalent practical experience is also highly valued. A minimum of four years of experience in data analysis within the eCommerce sector is required. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, and advanced Excel is essential, along with experience in data visualization platforms like Tableau or similar software. A solid understanding of data architecture, including data design, ETL processes, and database schemas, is necessary to succeed in this role. Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are crucial for translating complex data into actionable insights. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment is vital. A demonstrated curiosity about emerging AI technologies and a proactive approach to leveraging AI for data initiatives will set candidates apart. Certifications in data analytics or digital marketing, along with programming experience in Python or R, are advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all eCommerce systems. Document data flows and transactional processes to establish a single source of truth, identify inconsistencies, and recommend improvements for data input controls and master data management (customer and product data).
- Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, including web analytics, sales figures, and customer behavior, to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and average order value to evaluate the effectiveness of eCommerce activities and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to understand behavioral patterns, segment audiences, and develop targeted marketing strategies and personalization efforts.
- A/B Testing: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize website performance, enhance user experience, and improve marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on market trends and monitor competitor performance to inform strategic planning and identify growth opportunities.
- Data Visualization: Develop dashboards, visual reports, and presentations to communicate insights clearly and support data-driven decision-making across teams.
- Collaboration: Partner with eCommerce, marketing, and product teams to align data insights with business objectives and facilitate cross-functional projects aimed at business growth and operational efficiency.
