About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Machine Learning Engineer to join our Digital Excellence Centre (DEC) team in Bangalore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI products and platforms that enhance customer experiences through the integration of design thinking and trailblazing technology. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and refining sophisticated machine learning models that push the boundaries of artificial intelligence. Your work will directly impact the development of intelligent applications capable of self-learning and adaptation, contributing to Deloitte’s mission of delivering impactful solutions for our clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, preferably in engineering or related fields, with a focus on data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence. Proven experience in applying statistical modeling, deep learning, NLP, and other quantitative techniques to solve complex business problems is essential. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn are required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of data analysis, data mining, and data visualization. Exposure to Generative AI and experience working in remote or collaborative environments will be considered advantageous. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across various domains to identify impactful data-driven applications that address meaningful business challenges.
- Mine, analyze, and interpret large and medium-sized datasets to uncover insights that generate new business value.
- Design, develop, and implement robust statistical and machine learning models, ensuring continuous evaluation and improvement of model performance.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to test, deploy, and iterate on data science solutions, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
- Build and execute A/B testing strategies to validate model efficacy and optimize outcomes.
- Provide feedback and collaborate with data collection teams to enhance data quality, ensuring accuracy, legitimacy, and completeness of datasets.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering understanding and alignment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying innovative techniques to enhance project outcomes.
