Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and analytical Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data, building predictive models, identifying business trends and supporting data-driven decision-making across departments.
The role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on experience with data science tools, and the ability to convert raw data into meaningful business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, process and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple business sources.
- Develop predictive models, statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
- Analyze website, marketing, sales, operational and customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Build dashboards, reports and data visualization models for management review.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-backed recommendations.
- Perform forecasting, trend analysis, segmentation and performance analysis.
- Automate data workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and quality across reports and models.
- Present findings in a clear, simple and actionable format for business teams.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python / R for data analysis and modelling.
- Good understanding of SQL, databases and data extraction.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio or similar visualization tools.
- Knowledge of data cleaning, data mining and predictive analytics.
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify patterns.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, business analytics or predictive modelling.
- Experience in B2B, manufacturing, engineering, environmental or industrial sectors will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, CRM data, marketing analytics or sales forecasting will be an added advantage.
