We’re looking for a Data Scientist who can move beyond models and focus on impact. This role is about asking the right questions, working with imperfect data, and translating insights into decisions that actually move the business.
You’ll work closely with product, business, and engineering teams to solve real problems — not just build isolated models.
Key Responsibilities
- Problem Framing
- Translate business problems into data science use cases with clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes.
- Data Exploration & Preparation
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets, clean and transform data, and uncover patterns that matter.
- Model Development
- Build, validate, and deploy machine learning/statistical models for prediction, classification, optimization, or recommendation.
- Insight Generation
- Go beyond outputs — interpret results, derive insights, and present them in a way stakeholders can act on.
- Experimentation
- Design and evaluate A/B tests or experiments to validate hypotheses and improve decision-making.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering teams for model deployment and product teams for integration into workflows.
- Monitoring & Improvement
- Track model performance, identify drift, and continuously improve accuracy and relevance.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in Python / R and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with SQL and working with large datasets
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on real-world business problems (e.g., customer analytics, pricing, fraud detection, recommendations)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
- Understanding of data pipelines and MLOps practices
