Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and analytical Data Scientist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, generate actionable insights, and help drive strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Build and implement machine learning and statistical models for prediction, classification, clustering, and forecasting.
- Perform Time Series Analysis using techniques such as ARIMA, SARIMA, and forecasting models.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques including:
- Logistic Regression
- Multivariate Regression
- Cluster Analysis
- Factor Analysis
- Predictive Modeling
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data visualization to communicate insights effectively.
- Develop and optimize machine learning models using Python and libraries such as:
- Scikit-Learn
- Pandas
- NumPy
- XGBoost
- TensorFlow / PyTorch (preferred)
- Work on NLP-related use cases including:
- Text Classification
- Sentiment Analysis
- Semantic Similarity
- Named Entity Recognition (NER)
- Perform feature engineering, data preprocessing, dimensionality reduction, and model tuning.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across multiple data sources.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and business-friendly manner.
- Work in an Agile environment while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries.
- Good understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with data cleaning, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with NLP and Deep Learning models.
- Exposure to forecasting and recommendation systems.
- Understanding of business intelligence and reporting concepts.
- Knowledge of MLOps fundamentals is a plus.
