Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Data Scientist / Agentic AI Systems Intern at RapidCue AI. The role involves working closely with the product and engineering teams to design, develop, test, and optimize agentic AI systems for sales use cases. The selected candidate will contribute to building intelligent pipelines that combine data analysis, predictive modeling, retrieval systems, and real-time decision support.
Responsibilities include analyzing product and conversation data, developing predictive and statistical models, building and evaluating AI workflows, improving inference quality, and supporting deployment of AI components into production-like environments. The role also includes contributing to data visualization dashboards, experimentation pipelines, agent orchestration logic, and system performance optimization to improve platform efficiency and decision-making capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Data Science, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and experimentation
- Experience in data analysis, data analytics, and extracting actionable insights from structured and unstructured data
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and related tools
- Familiarity with agentic AI systems, multi-step workflows, tool-using agents, and LLM-powered applications
- Exposure to frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangFlow, or similar orchestration frameworks
- Understanding of RAG pipelines, embeddings, semantic search, reranking, and vector databases such as FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, or similar systems
- Familiarity with Hugging Face, modern NLP workflows, and open-source model ecosystems
- Strong background in statistics and its application to predictive modeling and decision systems
- Experience in creating data visualization dashboards and communicating insights clearly
- Familiarity with Docker, containerized development, and reproducible ML/AI workflows
- Exposure to deployment workflows, APIs, model serving, backend integrations, and production-oriented AI systems
- Understanding of evaluation, debugging, and optimization of AI pipelines in real-world settings
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is a plus
- Previous experience in sales analytics, conversational AI, agentic systems, or AI-driven SaaS products is an advantage
