Role Description The Data Science Trainer will design and deliver structured data science training programs to students in an on-site setting in Pune City. This full-time role involves preparing and presenting lectures, leading practical labs, and guiding learners through projects covering topics such as statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and programming tools commonly used in data science. The trainer will create lesson plans, training materials, and assessments, and provide constructive feedback to support learner progress and skill development. Responsibilities also include staying current with industry trends, updating course content accordingly, and collaborating with the academic team to maintain high training standards. The role may involve mentoring learners on career paths, assisting with interview preparation, and contributing to curriculum enhancement based on learner and industry needs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Data Science concepts, including statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and exploratory data analysis.
- Proficiency in data science tools and languages such as Python or R, along with libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and visualization frameworks.
- Experience in Science Education and an understanding of Physics and Mathematics to explain technical concepts clearly and logically.
- Background as a Qualified Teacher or Trainer with skills in Lesson Planning, classroom delivery, and learner assessment.
- Ability to design practical, project-based learning experiences using real-world datasets and case studies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Industry experience in data science, analytics, or related roles is an added advantage.
- Comfort with using learning management systems and digital tools to support training delivery and tracking learner progress.
