About the Role
This internship is designed for individuals passionate about exploring data and applying machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems. As a Data Science Intern at Infrabyte Consulting, you’ll work on projects that involve data cleaning, modeling, and visualization, while learning how analytics can drive smarter business decisions.
Responsibilities
* Collect, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets
* Apply statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to uncover insights
* Build predictive models and evaluate their performance
* Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively
* Collaborate with consultants and developers to integrate data-driven solutions
* Document workflows, methodologies, and results for project reporting
Requirements
* Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields
* Strong knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and modeling
* Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
* Understanding of SQL and database management
* Experience with visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI)
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
