Job Summary
• We are seeking a highly motivated Data Science Intern to join our team. This role involves working on data collection, web scraping, analysis, visualization, and machine learning to derive meaningful insights that enhance our platform’s functionality and user experience.
Responsibilities
1. Web Scraping: Collect and extract data from websites using tools like BeautifulSenvironme• If..es ..., or Selenium.
2. Data Preprocessing: Clean, transform, and structure raw data for analysis.
3. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Identify trends and insights from collected data.
4. Machine Learning: Develop predictive models for data-driven decision-making.
5. Data Visualization: Create dashboards and reports using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, or Tableau.
6. Database Management: Work with structured and unstructured data, ensuring quality and consistency.
7. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into our platform.
8. Documentation: Maintain records of methodologies, findings, and workflows.
Requirements:
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. Experience in web scraping using BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium.
3. Proficiency in Python/R and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
4. Familiarity with SQL and database management.
5. Strong understanding of data visualization tools.
6. Knowledge of APIs and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
