Data Science Intern

Acrotinel is looking for an innovative Data Science Intern who is passionate about building and working on AI models. This role is ideal for candidates who want hands-on experience in developing intelligent systems, experimenting with models, and solving real-world problems using AI.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, train, and optimize AI/ML models for real-world applications
• Work on use cases like prediction systems, recommendation engines, or NLP tasks
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection
• Experiment with different algorithms to improve model performance
• Work on deep learning models for advanced problem-solving (if applicable)
• Collaborate with teams to understand problems and design AI-driven solutions
• Evaluate models using appropriate metrics and validation techniques
• Assist in deploying models and integrating them into applications
• Document model development, experiments, and results
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning and AI concepts
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Basic knowledge of Deep Learning (TensorFlow / PyTorch is a plus)
• Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems (optional)
• Understanding of data preprocessing and feature engineering
• Knowledge of model evaluation techniques and metrics
• Basic SQL knowledge for data handling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Eligibility Criteria
• Students or recent graduates from Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related fields
• Freshers with strong AI/ML projects are encouraged to apply
• Candidates with hands-on experience in model building or Kaggle preferred
• Certifications in AI / Machine Learning are a plus
• Must be available for a full-time remote internship
