We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Data Science Instructor to teach students and professionals the fundamentals and advanced concepts of data science. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping learners build practical, industry-ready skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom, online, or hybrid data science training sessions.
- Develop and update course materials, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Teach topics including:
- Python for Data Science
- Statistics and Probability
- Data Analysis and Visualization
- SQL and Databases
- Machine Learning
- Deep Learning (preferred)
- Data Wrangling and Feature Engineering
- Model Evaluation and Deployment
- Conduct hands-on coding sessions and real-world projects.
- Mentor students on capstone projects, internships, and career preparation.
- Evaluate student performance through quizzes, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data science.
- Collaborate with the academic team to improve curriculum and learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, analytics, or a related role.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is preferred.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
