Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Data Science Faculty – PG Only position, based in Bengaluru South. The Data Science Faculty will design and deliver curriculum for postgraduate learners across topics such as statistics, machine learning, data analysis, and relevant programming tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching live classroom sessions, conducting labs and hands-on practice, and evaluating assignments, quizzes, and projects. The role involves guiding learners through real-world case studies, mentoring them on capstone projects, and providing academic support through doubt-clearing sessions and feedback. The faculty member will also collaborate with the academic and product teams to update course content, incorporate industry trends, and continuously improve teaching methodologies and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in data science concepts, including statistics, probability, machine learning algorithms, and exploratory data analysis.
- Proficiency with programming languages and tools commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, along with libraries or frameworks for data manipulation and modeling.
- Experience working with real-world datasets, data cleaning, visualization, and interpretation of analytical results for business or research use cases.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, or train postgraduate learners, with clear communication skills and a learner-centric teaching approach.
- Postgraduate degree (e.g., MCA ,M .Tech, M .Sc, M.E., with analytics specialization, or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Prior teaching, corporate training, or edtech experience in data science or analytics is highly desirable.
- Ability to design assessments, projects, and course materials that reflect current industry practices and hiring expectations.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting academic schedules, and openness to continuous learning and curriculum enhancement.
