Role Description The Data Science Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The educator will design and deliver data science curricula, including lectures, hands-on labs, and projects that cover topics such as statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and industry tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, mentoring learners on projects, evaluating performance through assignments and assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support skill development. The role also involves collaborating with the content and product teams to refine course content, integrating real-world case studies, and staying current with emerging data science technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Science Education, with an ability to connect theory to practical data science applications.
- Proficiency in Mathematics, including statistics and probability relevant to data analysis and machine learning.
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher or instructor, with a track record of effective classroom or cohort-based facilitation.
- Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning, curriculum design, and structuring project-based learning experiences.
- Hands-on experience with data science tools and languages (e.g., Python or R, SQL, libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib).
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language to learners with diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach to teaching.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Prior experience in industry or applied data science projects is highly beneficial.
