Role Description The Data Science and Analytics Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhiwandi, responsible for delivering structured training programs in data science, analytics, and related tools and technologies. The trainer designs and updates curriculum, prepares learning materials, and conducts interactive classroom sessions, labs, and workshops for learners at different skill levels. Daily activities include explaining core concepts, supervising hands-on exercises, reviewing assignments and projects, and providing individualized feedback and mentoring. The trainer collaborates with the institute’s academic and placement teams to align course content with industry needs, support learners in building portfolios, and prepare them for interviews and real-world roles. The role also involves continuous upskilling, staying current with emerging trends in data science and analytics, and contributing to the improvement of teaching methods and course offerings.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of core data science and analytics concepts, including statistics, data analysis, machine learning fundamentals, and data visualization.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in key tools and languages such as Python or R, SQL, and popular data science libraries or frameworks used for analytics and modeling.
- Candidates should possess experience with data handling and processing using spreadsheets, databases, and analytics platforms, along with the ability to design and guide hands-on projects.
- Candidates should possess clear communication, presentation, and instructional skills to explain complex topics, conduct interactive sessions, and provide constructive feedback.
- Candidates should possess strong mentoring and classroom management abilities, including patience, learner-centric teaching, and the capacity to support diverse learner backgrounds.
- Relevant industry experience in data science, business analytics, or related roles, and prior teaching or training experience, would be highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
