Job Description: Data Science / Analytics Trainer / Faculty

Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Science / Analytics Trainer (Faculty) to deliver high-quality, industry-oriented training to students and working professionals. The role requires strong technical expertise, practical teaching ability, and a student-centric approach to ensure learning outcomes and placement readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver classroom training on Data Science & Data Analytics concepts
- Teach tools and technologies including Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI / Tableau
- Explain statistics, data cleaning, data visualization, and basic machine learning concepts
- Conduct hands-on sessions, practical labs, and real-time projects
- Prepare and update training material, assignments, and case studies
- Monitor student performance and provide individual feedback and mentoring
- Assist students with project guidance, doubt-solving, and interview preparation
- Coordinate with academic and placement teams to align training with industry needs
- Maintain batch progress reports and attendance records
- Support demo sessions, workshops, and curriculum updates
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills- Strong knowledge of Data Science / Data Analytics fundamentals
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn)
- Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis
- Hands-on experience with Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau
- Understanding of statistics, EDA, and basic ML algorithms
- Ability to work with real-world datasets
Teaching & Soft Skills- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple language
- Student-focused and patient teaching approach
- Classroom management and engagement skills
- Willingness to continuously learn and update skills
Preferred Candidate Profile- Prior experience as a trainer, faculty, or mentor in Data Science / Analytics preferred
- Industry experience in data analysis / data science roles is an added advantage
- Comfortable teaching freshers and career switchers
- Certification in Data Science / Analytics is a plus
