Azure Fabric & Cloud Migration (Naiyer)
Key Responsibilities
· Design and implement end-to-end data testing strategy and test completion plans
· Set up data QA capability, including standards, benchmarks, and KPIs
· Validate on-prem to Azure migration through source-to-target reconciliation
· Automate data test cases using Fabric / Spark notebooks
· Develop reusable frameworks for:
o Data quality checks
o Reconciliation & control totals
o Regression testing
· Write advanced SQL for data validation and anomaly detection
· Evaluate and recommend Azure-native or third-party tools for:
o Data testing
o Automation
o Monitoring & quality checks
· Produce QA reports and support release / post-deployment validation
· Work closely with data engineers and cloud teams in an agile setup

Required Skills & Experience
· 6+ years of experience in data testing / data QA
· Strong hands-on SQL skills for large datasets
· Experience testing data warehouses / lakehouses
· Hands-on experience with Azure data platforms, preferably Microsoft Fabric
· Experience with on-prem to cloud data migration testing
· Strong understanding of:
o Test strategy & planning
o Test case design
o Automation & regression testing
o Use of AI solutions like copilot as accelerators
· Experience automating test cases using notebooks
