We're #hiring #DPDP Specialists in #Mumbai with 1–15 months experience to join our organization. The Data Protection Consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the DPDP Act, developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures, and conducting risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
📍 Location Requirement:
We are only considering candidates based in or around Mumbai.
🧑💼 Experience Required:
1–15 months in relevant fields.
Key Responsibilities:
# Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures
# Conduct risk assessments and Business Activity Assessments to identify privacy gaps
# Work closely with client stakeholders to assess privacy posture, identify gaps, and recommend remediation
# Monitor data processing activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws
# Provide training on data protection best practices
# Design and implement Data Principal Rights management processes and tools
# Collaborate with tech and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations like GDPR and DPDPA
# Stay updated on evolving data protection laws and recommend policy updates
Qualifications:
# Bachelor’s degree
# Experience in information technology, data protection, information security, or related domains (1–15 months)
# Good understanding of data protection laws and privacy controls
# Strong grasp of business processes
# Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
# Ability to work independently and collaboratively
# High attention to detail and confidentiality
