About The Job
We are seeking a hands-on Data Product Lead with deep functional knowledge of Ecommerce and Consumer Experience (CX) to lead and support data-driven requirements and initiatives toward the maturity of existing, rollout of future, and build-out of foundational data for Ecommerce and CX applications and implementations. This role is critical in bridging business functional requirements with technical enablement, ensuring that data solutions meet the needs of global Ecommerce and CX teams. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering directly with Ecommerce and CX business stakeholders, understanding their processes, KPIs, and strategic priorities, while also serving as the technical owner for the data foundations that empower these domains. This role requires strong familiarity with Ecommerce business processes and with Consumer Data Platforms (CDPs) to support the data-driven enablement of consumer personalization, segmentation, and omnichannel engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Ecommerce and CX Data Foundations and serve as the internal subject matter expert on data required to build, grow, and maintain it. Drive and advise on strategy, capabilities, and implementations, and provide functional and technical guidance on best practices, architecture, and data flows for Ecommerce and CX domains.
- Act as the primary escalation point for all data matters related to Ecommerce and CX globally. Provide leadership for data-focused aspects of implementations, use cases, and integrations.
- Partner closely with Ecommerce and CX business teams to deeply understand functional requirements, business processes, and KPIs. Translate these into technical specifications and ensure data solutions deliver measurable business value.
- Collaborate with internal and external technical solution teams and draft, manage, and maintain all project documentation (e.g., timelines, risk logs, and status reports), functional documentation (requirements and use cases), and technical documentation (e.g., architecture, data flow diagrams, source system mapping, integration specifications).
- Lead CDP technical strategy and enablement for Ecommerce and CX use cases, in partnership with the business owner of the CDP platform, ensuring data readiness for personalization, segmentation, and omnichannel engagement. Advise on CDP integrations and data flows across platforms.
- Facilitate communication and coordination across global and local stakeholders to keep data projects on track and aligned with global standards.

Required Skill Set
- Proven experience working with Ecommerce and Consumer Experience business teams, with strong functional knowledge of these domains (e.g., digital commerce operations, customer journey mapping, personalization strategies, loyalty programs).
- Experience in digital data and technology project management, preferably in Ecommerce and CX contexts.
- Strong familiarity with Ecommerce business processes (e.g., marketing/ads, forecasting, sales) and with Ecommerce partner platforms (esp. Amazon).
- Strong familiarity with Consumer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as BlueConic and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred), or other platforms like Tealium, Treasure Data, or Amperity. Understanding of CDP architecture, data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation for marketing and CX use cases.
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data models for Ecommerce and CX, including data from transactional systems, web analytics, marketing and advertisement, commercial sales, CRM, loyalty programs, and marketing automation tools. Familiarity with warehousing solutions such as Snowflake and Databricks are a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Data Architecture/Engineering and Ecommerce/CX business teams, with ability to act as both a functional and technical translator between business and Digital.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong documentation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or hybrid project management methodologies, Confluence and Jira are a plus.
