Overall Objectives of Job:
• Active participation with the Group Data Privacy and Operating Entities as a Subject Matter
Expert (SME) in drafting, evaluating, enhancing, and implementing best-in-class policies/
practices / processes, operating manuals to adopt the changing requirements. Proactive
identification of risks and demonstrating clear ownership, leadership and seamless remediation
execution.Act as the primary contact point for Customers and the Compliance, Risk &
Governance Global Service Line stakeholders regarding service delivery and performance.
Develop and maintain transparent, authentic, positive and productive working relationships with
senior leadership. Acts as a bridge between the local teams and relevant stakeholders
(alignment for targets, roles, growth strategy, complexity of tasks)
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and expertise in Data Privacy from an XYZ Group and for
the jurisdiction of the OEs being serviced.
• Drive service standardization, harmonization, and simplification along with active adoption of
technology, data, AI, GenAI. Drive Group transformation programs by coordinating end to end
delivery, stakeholder management and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Propose and implement control effectiveness and efficiency improvements, while maintaining
compliance with regulatory requirements and thus, keeping Data Privacy risks under control.
• Interact within wider Data Privacy and other Business Units for the implementation of policies
and procedures; execute oversight function to monitor; audit and compliance testing reviews
and provide training support to employees on Data Privacy related topics.
• Being a senior role within the Professional Services team at Az Services Private Limited,
you are required to liaise / co-ordinate Xyz Services Global Lead for Data Privacy in the
Compliance, Risk & Governance Global Service Line on various topics regarding service
delivery on a regular basis and support solutioning.
• Leads, coaches and further develops people in accordance with the Allianz People Attributes,
leadership values and relevant guidelines as a team of seasoned professionals.
• Prioritizes, delegates and controls tasks, balances workloads and steers capacity in the team
• Enables the team to function effectively, follows clear priorities in alignment with the strategy
and ensures that these are met;
• Ensure all service SLA commitments (quality, productivity, turnaround time, etc) are achieved
and continually drive value creation & innovation
• Actively support pillar and organization wide projects and initiatives.
• Ensure transparency and work with the leadership team to address client escalations
proactively, issues management, etc.
• Ensure finance rigor and discipline (cash advance requests are correctly filled in, submitted on
time and approved according to guidelines; expense reports within deadlines and that the
documents provided are accurate, complete and follow internal procedure; ensure
repayment of outstanding amounts as per the procedure deadlines; Ensure timely and correct
submissions of the requested details within deadlines for planning and forecast purposes)
• Ensure that all delivered services have contracts in place and MSD procedures regarding
contracts/staffing are followed;
Qualification & Experience
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate (Law, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, etc).
Experience & SKILLS:
• Overall experience of 12+ years
• Relevant skills in people management & Data Privacy background and understanding
• Strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization including front
office individuals and senior stakeholders, skilled at diplomatically breaking down barriers and
obstacles
• Detailed oriented, analytical, inquisitive and apply sound judgements, ability to collaborate,
lead and execute across multiple initiatives leveraging cross-functional teams
• Ability to make decisions under time pressure and in crisis situations
• An attitude towards providing best in class services to the customers

• Keen to contribute to the development of compliance service offerings
• Preferrable: Experience in a similar function within a global organization
• Fluent in English, must be able to hold presentations and lead meetings in English.
Preferrable: other languages (German, French)
• Proficiency in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint;
• Strong organizational, planning and structuring skills;
• Experience in working in multicultural environments, especially in joint off shoring & on
shoring delivery models.
