Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Data Privacy Consultant. The Data Privacy Consultant will oversee the creation, implementation, and review of privacy policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations. The role will involve conducting privacy assessments, advising on data privacy risks, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance data security and compliance. The consultant will also collaborate with clients to address privacy concerns and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Privacy Regulations, Privacy Policies, and Data Privacy standards
- Experience in Privacy Compliance processes and practices
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and their application
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders
- Familiarity with technology-related legal frameworks is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, or a related field; certifications in data protection (e.g., CIPP) are a plus
