Role Description
This is a contractual, hybrid role based in Guwahati, with flexibility for partial work from home. As a Data Privacy Analyst, you will ensure compliance with privacy laws and robust data protection practices. Day-to-day tasks include conducting privacy assessments, developing and reviewing privacy policies, ensuring regulatory compliance (specifically to the DPDPA), addressing privacy concerns, and maintaining a proactive approach to privacy risks. You will collaborate with internal teams, provide expertise on privacy matters, and contribute to improving organizational compliance processes.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Privacy Regulations and understanding of Privacy Compliance requirements
- Experience in drafting, updating, and implementing Privacy Policies and guidelines
- Strong Analytical Skills to identify and mitigate privacy risks and ensure adherence to data protection laws
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving Privacy Issues and providing pre-emptive solutions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Prior experience in DPDPA or other data protection frameworks is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications in data privacy, such as CIPP or equivalent, are advantageous
