Role Description The Data Plane - Core Product Foundation Engineer is a full-time role. You will own the data plane end to end. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust AI-driven product and it's analytics.
What you will do
- Design and build the OTLP ingestion edge in Go
- Streaming consumers over Kafka
- Hot state in Redis.
- Own the ClickHouse schema and query patterns at scale.
- Make self-hosting a first-class product
What we are looking for
- 5+ years building backend or distributed systems, with strong production Go (or deep systems experience in Java/Rust/C++ and clear evidence you'll be productive in Go fast).
- You've built or operated streaming/event-driven systems.
- Hands-on with at least one serious datastore beyond Postgres — ClickHouse, Cassandra, Druid, or similar columnar/OLAP experience is a strong plus.
- You care about deployability: you've shipped software customers run themselves, or you understand why a static binary and a tight Helm chart are product features.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership — you'll make architecture decisions that last years, with a founding team, not a platform org, behind you.

- Candidates should possess Data Analytics capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Ability to take ownership of technical solutions.
