Key Responsibilities
Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to gather and translate requirements into data structures
Develop and optimize data models for data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures
Ensure alignment with enterprise data standards, governance, and compliance requirements (especially in regulated environments like pharma)
Work with ETL/ELT teams to ensure proper data mapping, transformation, and integration
Perform data analysis, profiling, and quality assessments
Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning
Maintain metadata, data lineage, and documentation
Support master data management (MDM) and reference data initiatives
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., GxP, HIPAA where applicable)
Experience in data modeling and data architecture
Strong Expertise In
Relational and dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas)
Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts
Hands-on Experience With Databases Such As
SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL / Snowflake
Experience in ETL/ELT development, especially with DBT.
Experience in data architecture and distributed data systems design.
Strong exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Strong experience with AWS data services including AWS Glue, S3, Redshift
Proficiency In Data Modeling Tools
ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or similar
Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
Familiarity with data governance and catalog tools
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
