We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design and implement robust data models that support enterprise data architecture and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling methodologies, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data structures while ensuring high data quality and performance.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Must Have Skills (Mandatory)
Strong experience in Data Modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, Relational, Dimensional Modeling, and 3NF.
Hands-on experience creating Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) using Crow’s Foot or UML notation.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
Experience working with Data Warehousing concepts.
Hands-on experience with ETL / ELT data pipelines.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical data models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good To Have Skills (Preferred)
Experience with cloud data platforms, especially Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
Experience working with Azure Data Lake.
Knowledge of Azure Databricks.
Experience using Azure DevOps or Git.
Knowledge of Python for data transformation.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
6–15 years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Architecture.
- Strong understanding of data modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, Top-down / Bottom-up, Relational, Dimensional Modeling, and 3NF.
- Experience creating ERDs using Crow’s Foot, UML, or similar modeling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
