We are looking for a Salesforce Data Migration Specialist to join our team and manage the seamless data migration into Salesforce from different sources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and a deep understanding of the Salesforce data model. Expertise in SQL and Salesforce data migration tools is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess data from source systems to identify data cleansing and transformation needs
- Develop and execute effective data mapping strategies to accurately map data from source systems to Salesforce objects and fields
- Transform and prepare data for Salesforce data migration, leveraging SQL and, optionally Python and PySpark
- Import data into Salesforce, ensuring precision and compliance with standards
- Validate and reconcile migrated data against source data using SQL and SOQL queries to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve any data migration issues, utilizing Salesforce tools and SQL
.
Requirement
- 4+ years of experience in Salesforce data migration projects or similar data migration role
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation
- In-depth understanding of the Salesforce data model, including objects, fields, relationships, and best practices for data migration
- Experience with Salesforce data import/export tools (e.g., Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector) and other migration tool
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and develop effective data migration strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills to address data migration challenges and ensure data quality
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to standard
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skill
- Knowledge of AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark is a plu
