Brief On The Organization
Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is a University established under IIPHG Act, 2015 of Gujarat State. It offers courses in the field of Public Health. It also undertakes various research projects in the field of Public Health. The university is established by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) with support from the Government of Gujarat, Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Project Brief
The State Resource Centre for Concurrent Monitoring & Evaluation (SRC-CME) will serve as an independent technical arm of the Women & Child Development Department, Gujarat, to strengthen ICDS implementation. It will conduct periodic field verification of key nutrition, health, and service delivery indicators while validating programme data for improved reliability. The Centre will identify high-risk districts and vulnerable groups, and undertake thematic assessments on areas such as growth monitoring, anaemia, and Anganwadi Centre readiness. It will translate findings into actionable, district-specific recommendations and support corrective planning. The SRC-CME will also strengthen supervisory practices and promote data-driven decision-making. It will generate evidence for state planning and document good practices. It will operate under WCD with guidance from a state-level steering committee. Overall, it will enhance data credibility, enable early risk identification, and support continuous programme improvement.
Deliverables
Will assist State nodal officer and state consultant in data analysis
Process data including receipt, entry, verification, or filing of information
Prepare appropriate formatting to datasets as requested
Design and validate databases including designing or testing logic checks.
Design forms for receiving, processing, or tracking data.
Develop or select specific software programs for various research scenarios.
Field visit to entire region and feedback to technical support team-IIPHG.
Any other activities as assigned by the PI or supervisor.
Qualification: Bachelors in any Discipline with experience in handling data
Experience: Minimum 02-05 years of relevant experience
