Role Overview
As a Data Governance Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement data governance policies and strategies.
- Manage data quality, security, and privacy across multiple systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to data management best practices.
- Educate teams and stakeholders on data governance principles and practices.
Technical Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years in data governance, data management, or data quality.
- Tools: Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
- Compliance: Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Communication: Excellent ability to engage with senior leadership, technical teams, and data stewards.
- Data Management: Familiarity with metadata management, data cataloging, and data stewardship.
