Job Description:
1) Data Governance Architect (Data Marketplace & Alation)-
We are seeking a Data Governance Architect to design and operationalize a modern, scalable data governance framework with a strong focus on data marketplace enablement and Alation implementation. This role drives enterprise-wide data discoverability, trust, and reuse while ensuring compliance and business value realization.
Key Responsibilities
• Define enterprise data governance framework (policies, standards, operating model)
• Architect and operationalize enterprise data marketplace
• Lead end-to-end Alation implementation (cataloging, lineage, glossary)
• Establish metadata, lineage, and data quality frameworks
• Set up governance operating model (council, stewardship workflows)
• Engage stakeholders including CDO, business, and risk teams
• Integrate governance platform with cloud, data, and BI ecosystems
Required Skills & Experience
• 10–15+ years in Data Governance / Data Management
• Strong experience with Alation (mandatory)
• Expertise in Snowflake (must) and good to have skillset in Databricks, Power BI/Tableau
• Strong understanding of data marketplace and data product concepts
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

2) Data Governance Lead & Data Governance Engineer
The Data Governance Lead will drive enterprise data governance strategy, with a strong focus on Data Marketplace enablement leveraging Alation and Snowflake. This role ensures data trust, compliance, and business value realization.
Key Responsibilities
• Define enterprise governance strategy and operating model
• Lead Data Marketplace implementation and adoption
• Oversee Alation platform deployment and governance workflows
• Establish data ownership, stewardship, and policies
• Drive metadata, lineage, and data quality initiatives
• Collaborate with business, risk, and technology stakeholders
• Enable Snowflake-based governed data ecosystem
Skills & Experience
• 10–15+ years in data governance and management
• Strong expertise in Alation (mandatory)
• Experience in Snowflake and cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure)
• Data marketplace and data product experience
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

3) Data Governance Engineer (Data Marketplace, Alation & Snowflake)
Role Overview
The Data Governance Engineer will implement and operationalize data governance solutions focusing on Alation, Snowflake, and Data Marketplace. This role is responsible for hands-on configuration, integration, and automation of governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and configure Alation (catalog, lineage, glossary)
• Integrate Alation with Snowflake and BI tools
• Develop metadata ingestion pipelines and lineage tracking
• Support data marketplace publishing workflows
• Implement data quality rules and monitoring
• Automate governance using APIs and scripts
Skills & Experience
• 5–10 years in data engineering / governance
• Hands-on experience with Alation and Snowflake
• Strong SQL and scripting skills (Python preferred)
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Understanding of metadata, lineage, and data quality concepts
