Role Description The Data Entry Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in internal systems and databases, ensuring high levels of data integrity and completeness. The Data Entry Specialist will review source documents for accuracy, resolve data discrepancies, and follow established procedures and data standards. The role also includes generating basic reports, organizing records, and supporting administrative and customer service activities as needed. Collaboration with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflows is an essential part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong typing skills and good attention to detail for accurate and efficient data entry.
- Candidates should possess solid computer literacy, including familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and standard office software.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clarify data-related issues.
- Candidates should possess customer service and administrative assistance skills to support internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Candidates should possess basic numerical aptitude, time management skills, and the ability to follow structured processes.
- Completion of secondary education is required; a diploma or degree in any discipline is an advantage.
- Prior experience in data entry or back-office operations is preferred but not mandatory.
