Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Officer (DEO) to join our team at Avenues - Design/ Concept/ Videos/ Events. As a Data Entry Officer, you will be responsible for creating digital databases, maintaining filing systems, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong data entry skills and a proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain digital databases, filing systems, and archives.
- Monitor, review, and correct errors or inconsistencies in the databases.
- Generate and export spreadsheets, documents, and data reports as needed.
- Work with SAP/WMS/ERP for documentation and invoicing.
- Prepare MIS, secondary reports, and incoming reports on a daily basis.
- Perform high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, or database software.
- Ensure the quality and productivity of data entry meets department requirements.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any inconsistencies, and ensure accurate output.
- Enter text-based and numerical data from source documents in a timely manner.
- Generate reports, store completed work, and perform backup operations.
- Supervise inventory management, cycle count, and maintain suitable inventory levels.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials.
- Manage transportation coordination and POD (Proof of Delivery) management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1 year of experience as a data entry operator or equivalent.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Excellent keyboarding skills and attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with databases, digital filing systems, and paper filing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
